At the beginning of 2024, I started my new position as researcher at the Criminological Research Institute of Lower Saxony. I have been warmly welcomed and look forward to working with a wonderful team over the next years. As co-head of the research unit “Victimology,” my research will focus even more than in the past on the experiences of victims of political and gender-based violence, and how they are situated in society and the state. The geographical focus will shift more towards western democracies and especially Germany.
